Page Protectors

This is another one of the essentials for putting together a HN. They can be used to protect sheets that can get dirty during use, like recipes, pages that punching holes in could cause you to lose information, things you just don’t have time to punch, and things you take in and out a lot, like take-out menus.

There are several kinds of sheet protectors:

  • Multi-page or single page.

Single page protectors are great for phone list, chore lists, and the like.

Multi-page ones are great for items when several pages are stapled together or for several pages that need to be kept together. (Multiple blank forms or papers that will be needed at the same time.)

  • Economy, medium weight, or heavy weight.

Economy weight to a super heavyweight. Most use the standard or medium weight.

  • Regular or non-glare.

Regular (diamond clear) is easier to read through but if glare is a problem for you, consider the non-glare type. Dry erase markers can be used to make off checklist in a sheet protector and work best on the regular surface.

  • Specialty sheet protectors, to hold business cards, diskettes, etc.
